Add-ons are extra choices a buyer can make when they order, like gift wrapping, a custom name, or a bigger size of box. Each add-on can be free or cost extra. They're a simple way to offer upgrades without building a separate product for every combination.

You create add-ons in groups. A group can cover all of your products or only the products in certain categories.

Step 1: Open Addons

1. In your Seller Dashboard, point to Settings in the menu on the left.
2. Click Addons. The Product Addons page opens.

Click Create New Addon in the top right. A new page opens. It looks different from the rest of the Seller Dashboard, and that's expected.

Step 2: Set up the group

1. Name is just for you. Buyers don't see it. Pick something you'll recognize, like Gift options.
2. Priority sets the order when more than one group shows on a product. Lower numbers show first. You can leave it at 10.
3. Product Categories chooses which of your products get this group. All Products means every product in your store. To limit it, remove All Products and pick the categories you want.
4. Click Add Field to add your first choice for buyers.

Step 3: Build the add-on

1. Type is the kind of choice:
   • Multiple Choice: the buyer picks one option from a list.
   • Checkboxes: the buyer can pick more than one.
   • Short Text and Long Text: the buyer types something, like a name to engrave.
   • File Upload: the buyer sends you a file, like a photo.
   • Customer Defined Price: the buyer enters an amount, like a tip or a gift amount.
   • Quantity: the buyer enters how many.
   • Heading: a title to group the choices below it. It isn't a choice itself.
2. Display as (Multiple Choice only) sets how the list looks: Dropdowns, Radio Buttons, or Images.
3. Title (Required) is the question buyers see, like Add gift wrapping?
4. Check Required field if buyers must answer before they can add the product to their cart.
5. For each option, type its name, choose how it's priced, and enter the price. Leave the price at 0.00 for a free option.
   • Flat Fee: the same amount once per order line.
   • Quantity Based: the amount is multiplied by how many the buyer orders.
   • Percentage Based: a percentage of the product's price.
6. Click Add Option for each extra choice.
7. When you're done, click Publish at the bottom right of the page.

To add another question to the same group, click Add Field again before you publish.

Good to know

• Add-on prices are added on top of the product's price.
• Right now, add-ons are set up by category from Settings. The product page doesn't have its own add-ons section.
• The Product Addons list may show Failed to fetch product addons or No data found, even after you publish a group. That's a known issue we're fixing. If you need to change or remove a group you've already made, contact us through Support Tickets.
