How to list a grouped product
A Grouped Product is a collection of related simple products that are displayed together under one main listing. It allows you to organize multiple individual items that complement each other, while still giving customers the option to purchase them separately.
For example, if you want to sell a music album along with individual tracks and visuals, you’ll want to create a Grouped product. This allows you to bundle the full album with related items—like individual songs and bonus visuals—so shoppers can choose to buy the complete package or just the parts they’re most interested in. Grouped products help you offer flexibility while keeping everything organized under one main listing.
Set up the parent product
To create a Grouped Product, you’ll start by setting up a parent product that will act as the main listing for a collection of related items.
- From your Seller Dashboard, click Products.
- Select Add New Product.
- Click the Product Type dropdown.
- Choose Grouped Product.
- Leave all Price fields blank (parent products don’t require a price).
- Assign the product to one or more Categories.
- Click Save Product to create your parent grouped product.
Create the child product(s)
- From your Seller Dashboard, go to Products > Add New Product.
- Click the Product Type dropdown and select your desired type for the child (e.g., Simple Product).
- Fill in all required product details (title, description, images, SKU, etc.).
- IMPORTANT: Assign the child product to the same category(ies) as your parent grouped product.
- Scroll to the Other Options section and locate Visibility.
- Set Visibility to Hidden so the child won’t appear standalone in your catalog.
- Click Save Product to create the child product.
- Repeat steps 1–7 for each item you wish to include in the grouped product.
Link the child product to the parent product
- From your Seller Dashboard, go to Products and edit your parent grouped product.
- Scroll down to the Linked Products panel and click into the Grouped Products field.
- Type the name of each child product into the search box, then select it from the list.
- Repeat until all desired child products are added.
- Click Save Product to link them and complete your grouped product.
You can continue linking more child products if needed. Once everything is connected, your grouped product will be complete—giving customers the option to purchase the full set or just the items they want.
