Over the last few years, many U.S. states have implemented laws that require online marketplaces like BlackSpace to collect sales tax on certain purchases. These marketplace facilitator laws mean that these states require us to calculate and collect sales tax on behalf of our independent sellers and send it to the respective state, oftentimes no matter where the seller is located.
